Bob News time...and the news is good.
The angioplasty went very very well. They Roto-Rootered the artery, and there was no need for a bypass. His doctor is "very optimistic" about the survival of the entire foot.
Today is Toe Amputation Day. With any luck, Bob will be home to recuperate by Friday.
He may make it back onstage by next week. We'll see, won't we?
Charlie and Ai Vy arrived to pick up the last of their stuff and drop off the keys.
I hope their new place is all they wish it to be. This one is now a little emptier, a little quieter.
At least until Brin gets here later today.
Walter Williams rings in with a column about college teachers.
Always an entertaining read, even if you don't have kids.
And now, about today's title...
First he said he did it. Now he says he didn't.
This is your brain on drugs, class.
More cleaning to do, and recyclables to deal with. Then I pick up Brin at the airport. And then, to work.
Be seeing you.
