Bittersweet

So I got a phone call yesterday from Anjte, the nice shelter lady who I met earlier this month. She got another bonded pair that need to be placed - and she thought I was a wonderful cat person who could give them a home.

So I'm going to go meet the kittehs later today and see how we get along.

I just hope THIS doesn't happen:

I'm just sayin'.

I was at Carl's Jr. yesterday, having dinner, and I heard a song come over the PA. I jotted down a line from the song and Googled it when I got home.

The song is called "Just The Girl" by a group called The Click Five. By looking at the video, it looks like what a previous generation called "bubblegum" music - they even have a song on the Hannah Montana soundtrack, so there's your audience right there.

In this and one of their other videos, they're wearing suits with ties and looking very clean-cut and Beatlesque, which IMHO is a good thing. And the songs are catchy - I've liked what I've heard so far.
