Well, yesterday I got up late - today I got up early. I have a dentist appointment at noon, so I need to get started a little earlier.

Monday night, TV Land was running an ep of MASH that I'd always liked. Unfortunately, I came into it in the middle. But then I remembered - I now have a DVD player in my computer! So I went to my boxed set, found the episode, and watched it on the computer while I did my evening mail run and such.

I think I'm gonna like having this.

Seems like the city of Berkeley is backpedalling, and fast.

Loved the quote from the mother-in-law of someone in the Navy:

"Berkeley doesn't speak for America," said Eve Tidwell of Columbus, Ga., who flew into the Bay Area on Tuesday after watching news accounts of the uproar over the Marines in Berkeley. "If terror came to Berkeley, the Marines would come to protect the people here."

Wanna bet? The terrorists would probably spare Berkeley as a shining example of socialism.

Three men have been arrested for plotting the murder of the Danish cartoonist who drew the Muhammad-wearing-a-bomb-for-a-turban cartoon.

These are the same extremists who say their religion isn't violent, and will kill anyone who says it is.
