Bob's brand-new used DAT (he bought it from a tech at a repair shop) has developed a problem. When he bought it, they gave him a 90-day warranty. The shop is near my work, so he asked me very nicely if I would take it back and scream at them. I of course said yes. So I have an early errand to run, AND work wants me there early as well. === The big plan for work today is to replace a power supply in one of our register computers. This thing would run for a little while and then lock up. We'd reset it, and it would do it again. I popped the back, blew out the dust that was caked on everything, and discovered that the fan inside the power supply wasn't moving at all...so nothing was siphoning out the hot air. Bingo - an overheating problem. So that's my big chore for today. Not that tough, just time-consuming. === Granted, we knew this already. === Sorry for the short post. Must dash. Be seeing you.
