I was at work last night and it hit me as to why Laila might be having trouble with the litter box during the night: the e-collar she wears is to big a diameter, so it's tough for her to climb into the box.

I called the vet and got a smaller-diameter collar. We'll try that.

But this morning, the litter box has an odor. Still hit or miss, but getting better.

During my long night last night, Laila used the LitterMaid box. I got there in time to help her squat, but all the urine made it into the sand.

I think she'll be fine once the cast comes off.

In another nine days.
