It's staying up into the high 90s. But the humidity has eased off. It's getting cooler in the evenings now.

But it's still not global warming. It's a far more technical thing, one that there is absolutely no debate about.

It's that phenomenon called summer.


Last night, Brin and I got to watch an episode of the second season of The Muppet Show. The guest was Zero Mostel.

The opening consists of one of the greatest musical pieces ever written - Chopin's Polonaise in A-flat. Unfortunately, the concert pianist couldn't make it, so...


Remember the "butt-slap day" case? About two thirteen-year-olds who participated and got charged with felony sexual harassment - not by the victims, but by their principal?

Well, the charges were dismissed by the judge.
