Cadillac Heaven

2009-07-17 - 12:26 p.m.

So I went in to work yesterday. Yes, on my day off.

We'd been having problems with a game. There were no interior lights at all, and this has literally cut into the games intake by over 50%.

So I got on the horn with the manufacturer's tech who knew this game inside and out. It took about fifteen minutes before we found out where the blown fuse was.

Now the game is lit up, I get paid for an hour's worth of time, and there will be large amounts of tokens in the game (I hope).

Win-win-win.

Got to watch the Angels beat the A's 6-2 last night.

This year it's going to come down between the Angels and the Rangers. Last year it was the Mariners.

The Angels play the Rangers seven times during the last couple weeks of the season.

It will all come down to that.

Here's the MP3 for today's title. I heard it on Dr Demento many many years ago, and I think I still have it on tape.

Ladies and gentlemen: The Baltimores.

Due to some (other) employee shiftings, I'm working tonight. This is the first Friday night I've worked in...well, several years.

Time to get on with it.

Be seeing you.
